Green Contacts

Contact lenses used to be really expensive. If you were one of those lucky guys or girls with contact lenses, especially those that produced a different color or shade in your eyes, most likely you got a lot of heads turning and many complements received from your friends. That was before when contact lenses were rare and a luxury for people. Today, people who find it difficult to walk around, perform their daily tasks, and even do leisure activities like rigorous sports while wearing their glasses can easily replace them with contact lenses. This is because the price for contact lenses have decreases and many brands are now out there in the market catering to people who want a pair of contact lenses. The most interesting of all is the idea of having a different shade of eye color with the help of blue, brown, and even green contacts.green-contacts

Having a pair of colored contact lenses has a lot of advantages, especially for those who have been wearing glasses for a long time. For starters, you don’t have to worry about losing your glasses since contact lenses stay in your eyes for the entire day. As long as they don’t dry up, rest assured your lenses will be there at all times. Another advantage is the fact that you don’t have something sliding down your nose every time you do an activity or game that requires you to bend down and lower your head. Lastly, colored contact lenses, especially the red and green contacts, make great finishing touches to your Halloween costume or anime costumes if you are planning on attending anime conventions. They bring out a striking look to your eyes, so it’ll definitely make a great highlight for your overall look.

But of course, you have to be careful when using colored contact lenses. Colored contact lenses are normally tinted to give it a different color, leaving out a clear portion on the center for your pupils. This allows you to see even if the lenses are colored. But there could be problems if your pupils are larger than the center area of your contact lenses, and since the pupils enlarge or shrink depending on the amount of light available in one’s area, you could experience difficulties or uncomfortable conditions during use. To be on the safe side, ask first your eye doctor if you can wear colored contact lenses, see if the color looks well with your eyes, and wear those that are ideally prescribed for you.
